A Xero subscription includes free access to Xero Analytics and you may already be using the Short-term-cash flow and Business snapshot dashboards, both of which can be accessed from the Business tab, to monitor the health of your business.
These reports, whilst useful, have their limitations. For example, the short term cash flow is limited to showing the cash impact of invoices and bills only, ignoring income and expenditure entered directly from the bank.
As part of the evolution of analytics, Xero have now launched ‘Analytics Plus’, bringing advanced features and more accurate forecasting. A summary of the product features is included below, one of the most useful being the prediction of future income and expenditure based on previous transaction history:
Xero Analytics Plus is available on a free trial until January 2022 after which it will cost an additional £5 plus VAT per month.
