We, at Amrstrong Watson, are very proud to announce that Karen Thomson, Director of Group Payroll Services, and Suzanne Gallagher, Head of Payroll Operations, have both been selected for inclusion within the exclusive ‘The Reward 300’ index of the Payroll profession’s most influential leaders.
The index recognises individuals who have proven themselves as leading lights within their profession and is split into 7 different categories including 100 Payroll Leaders. This is the second time Suzanne Gallagher has been included on the list and the 10th year in a row for Karen Thomson.
This accolade follows an announcement in January that Karen had been awarded Individual Chartered Status of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) and is one of the first ten people in the UK to receive this.
Both Suzanne and Karen also sit on the Board of Directors for the CIPP, after Suzanne was appointed as a new director in December, and marking the first time that the CIPP has ever had two Directors on its Board from the same firm.
Commenting on their recent accolade, Karen Thomson, Armstrong Watson Director of Group Payroll Services said,
“I am delighted to once again be awarded with this accolade. I continue to strive to make the payroll profession a recognised career option and will continue to support our profession in any way I can.”
Suzanne Gallagher, Head of Payroll Operations added,
“Having been elected on to the CIPP board and to now be included for a second year in these awards, is very special and I appreciate the support the profession has given me.”
