Glasgow and Edinburgh Legal Breakfast Briefing

Armstrong Watson and The Royal Bank of Scotland would like to invite you to the next of our regular series of Breakfast Briefings for the Legal Services Market, although we will be running this Briefing via Teams and changing the time to 10am.

Although now using technology, as with our previous events, invites are still being restricted to key decision makers within key regional firms with a select group of regular attendees.  That way we will still attract high quality nationally recognised speakers to present on law firm management issues.

Marketing your law firm in the digital age - 10 top tips

During this time of unprecedented change in the legal sector you need to be more visible, instantly appealing, and shouting from the roof tops about how you offer a different, better, service than your competition. If your online presence isn’t directly contributing to your law firm’s success, then you are missing out on an opportunity that your competitors will be readying themselves to take advantage of.

Join our speakers Chris Davidson of Moore Legal Technology and Ally Thomson of Hey Legal as they discuss how your law firm can use the internet more effectively to grow its business.

Speaker Profile - Chris Davidson

Chris joined Moore Legal Technology as a Director in 2013 following specialist in-house law firm marketing and business development roles.

His primary focus is to build awareness of Moore Legal Technology’s unique capabilities among prospective clients and develop long term relationships with current clients by continuing to add value to their businesses. As an advocate of Moore Legal Technology’s vision to be the UK’s leading provider of online business generation solutions to the legal sector, Chris manages Moore Legal Technology’s brand strategy and drives recognition of their value proposition amongst clients and in the legal community at large.

Speaker Profile - Ally Thomson

Ally is a non-practicing Scottish solicitor who has been working on online projects in the legal sector for the last 15 years. He is a member of the Technology Law and Practice Committee of the Law Society of Scotland and teaches Legal Technology and Innovation to Diploma Students at Glasgow University Law School.

Ally set up Hey Legal this year to provide an innovative online platform for Scottish lawyers and law firms. Through engaging content, resources and events he hopes to build out Hey Legal as the online hub for Scottish lawyers. He will talk about how law firms can engage with the platform to build their own brand and online presence.
