Claire has undertaken forensic work since 2007. She has been involved in a wide range of forensic assignments including fraud investigations, proceeds of crime, personal injury, cases involving vulnerable individuals and commercial disputes.
Claire is particularly adept at handling large amounts of data and undertaking complex analysis. In particular, she assisted in the preparation and analysis of numerous large databases of financial transactions including Operation Bamburgh (R v David Purdie and others), R v Paul Good and Daryl Shellard and R v Claire Miller (Claire McLellan). In undertaking her work, she applies a systematic and analytical approach to her work and has written numerous reports for the Court. Claire has also acted as Expert in a number of cases.
