About Dan

Dan grew up in a rural village near Wigton and joined Armstrong Watson in 2012 after leaving school. He completed his training in the Hexham & Carlisle offices where he developed a passion for the agricultural sector.

After a secondment supporting the Glasgow office, Dan joined the Penrith offices in 2020. There, Dan focuses on supporting family businesses specialising in the farming and rural business sector across Cumbria and the North of England. His strength lies in simplifying complex accounting concepts, making them accessible and clear for his clients.

Dan places a high value on developing relationships with clients, that allows him to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business and their specific needs. This deep understanding, coupled with his extensive experience in the agricultural sector, enables him to effectively address their unique business requirements.
