Legal Sector Breakfast Briefing - Financial Stability
Financial stability is a current topic of concern as law firms continue to fail. Law firms should always manage their businesses so as not to fail financially. However, too many law firms have for too long not been run as businesses.
The speakers at this briefing are:
Richard Andrew, Partner, Armstrong Watson - Richard is a Partner in Armstrong Watson’s Kendal office and has over a decade of accountancy experience. Richard works with a variety of businesses but specialises in working with law firms. Richard has helped law firms refinance their debt, review their lockup procedures to optimise cashflow, save significant amounts of tax through restructuring and introduced law firms looking to merge or acquire other law firms.
Mark Ranson, Restructuring Partner, Armstrong Watson - Mark, a chartered accountant, has significant experience of restructuring companies, whether robustly solvent or in distress. Mark is a licensed insolvency practitioner.
Elaine Wilcox, Insolvency Consultant, Armstrong Watson Elaine has worked in business recovery for 25 years dealing with both companies and individuals. Her experience means that she is able to advise clients on all areas of insolvency and corporate recovery and is very effective in dealing with any problems that might arise.
